INTERVEST ENGINEERING and DEVELOPMENT, Inc. is a full-service professional engineering firm in Dallas, Texas with the experience and expertise that covers a broad range of services and design capabilities in the fields of mechanical, electrical, energy conservation, site planning, and civil engineering. We are the continuation of an engineering firm founded in 1928 in San Antonio under the name of Beretta Engineers. In 1969, the firm’s name was changed to Travis-Braun and Associates, Inc. A branch office opened in Dallas in 1970 to accommodate an expansion of the services being offered by the firm. In 1983, Travis-Braun changed its name to Intervest. We have designed and built the first private solar utility system in the State of Texas and testified before Congress in the early ‘80s.
Today we offer independent consulting services in the fields of planning, management, development and in the technical fields of HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Energy Studies, Solar and Civil Engineering with a team of design professionals and engineers. We are a Nationwide experienced and HUD-certified MAP AE/ Cost Consultant. We provide professional services including site and property inspections, architectural/ engineering reports, cost analysis, cost reports, plans and specs reviews, CNA E-tool preparation, MIP/SEDI reviews, permits and approvals reports, pre-application review and reports, and preparation of HUD /Lender documents for FIRM submittal and Closing.
